Are there any jobs for 13 year olds? The answer depends on where you are living because each state and countries have different child labor law. Most child labor laws prohibit 13 year old teenagers to work, though there are some places where 13 year old teenagers are allowed to work under adult monitoring.

Jobs for 13 year olds are not many, but you can deliver newspapers, work as a baby-sitter, work as an actor or performer in motion pictures, television, theater or radio, work in a business solely owned or operated by your parents, or work on a farm owned or operated by your parents.

Therefore, many 13 year old teenagers work as babysitter or paper router, both jobs are quite easy, yet earning quite much money. If you work in agriculture on a farm you will need written parent permission, or else your parent is working on the same farm. This work can only be performed during hours when school is not in session and in non-hazardous jobs.
